Audrey Lok Lum O. Yue, Batch 2017 Valedictorian, and Lee Younbeom, incoming senior, received Advanced Placement* (AP) Scholar Awards for their exemplary performance in the AP Examinations last May 2017.
Audrey, who graduated in May 25, achieved the AP Scholar with Distinction Award for getting an average exam score of 3.88 in 8 AP subject tests namely English Language and Composition, Literature and Composition, Psychology, US History, World History, Calculus AB, Environmental Science and Physics 1. She is now bound for the University of California-Berkeley, ranked 27th in the QS World University Rankings, for her freshman year.
Younbeom, on the other hand, is presented with the AP Scholar Award for achieving an average exam score of 3.67 in Psychology, Calculus AB, and Physics 1. He still plans to take AP courses and tests in Grade 12 as he prepares for college admissions to top performing universities in Canada.
MIT International School’s AP Program continues to reap achievements as reflected by the commendable exam performance and admissions to top international universities of its AP learners.
