The month of October saw the entire MITIS community celebrate the United Nations Month with the theme, “United @ 10: Unity and Tenacity amidst Diversity.”
Students from Kinder to Gr. 6 represented various countries in a UN Runway contest. Those who wore the best costumes were recognized at the end of the event.
Grade 7 to 12 students participated in a Food Recipe Making Contest where they were tasked to come up with healthy food choices using vegetables.
Winners of the Poetry Making Contest celebrating the “International Day of Peace” were also awarded on the same day.
