MITISzens Make their Mark: CSO Student-Team Launches “DARE: See. Be. Live”

Last September 10, 2018, students chose the Creative Social Outreach (CSO) group that they will be planning activities for. With the theme DARE: See. Be. Live., the CSO Student Leadership Team encouraged MITIS students to join a specific program wherein they will embody and exhibit the school’s core value of service in their own creative ways. This year, the CSO will focus on reaching out to different challenged members of the society; children in orphanages and day care centers (Program SEE: See the Young), marginalized communities (Program BE: Be the Change), and the abandoned adults in foster care (Program LIVE: Live the Story).

To show their program of choice, the students placed a sticker with their name on the column of the program. These stickers were given to them beforehand along with infographics about each program.

MIT International School believes that through CSO, students will be able to realize their great role in bringing about positive change to their respective communities and the world.
